Molar mass of the sugar , C12H22O11
molecular mass of sugar = 12 × atomic mass of C + 22 × atomic mass of H + 11 × atomic mass of O
= 12 × 12 + 22 × 1 + 11 × 16
= 144 + 22 + 176
= 342 g/mol

given weight { w } = 20g
Volume { V } = 2L

now, molarity = given weight/molecular weight × volume of solution in L
= 20/342 × 2
= 10/342 mol/L
= 0.0292 M
hence, concentration of sugar is 0.0292 M
