(p + q) terms of it is equal to zero.

Answer:

Let the number to be subtracted be y

5 - y/7 - y = 2/3

2(7 - y) = 3(5 - y)

14 - 2y = 15 - 3y

3y - 2y = 15 - 14

y = 1
