so, resistance in each piece is R/5
then equivalent resistance of A to B
R"equa=1/5R+1/5R+1/5R+1/5R+1/5R
=) 5R/5=R
and so the resistance of a long wire=resistance of divided wire into 5 piece .
so, ratio of R'/R =R/R=1ohm.
