Given equation is x

2 +7x=7

⇒x 2 +7x−7=0

Using the quadratic formula, we get:

x= 2×1

−7± 49+28⇒x= 2

−7± 77

=0.89,−7.89

Thus, there are two values of x i.e 0.89 and −7.89 (correct up to two decimal places)
