Answer 1.

let there be x notes of rs. 10

then there will be (35-x) notes of rs. 20

total value of all notes:-

(10x+20(35-x))=500rs.

=10x+20(35-x)=500

=10x+700-20x=500

=10x-20x=500-700

-10x= -200

x=20

hence,

there are 20 notes of 10rs.

and

(35-20)=15 notes of 20 rs.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1.) Let the number of Rs 5 notes be x

Hence the number of Rs 10 notes be (90 − x)

Total sum of money

= Rs 500 ∴ 5x + 10 (90 − x)

= 500 5x + 900 − 10x

= 500 − 5x

= 500 − 900 = −400

∴ x = 80 Hence there are 80 notes of Rs 5 and 10 notes of Rs 10.

2.)9X - 8 = 2X + 6

9X - 2X = 6 + 8

7X = 14

X = 14/7 =2..

Ans. The number is 2

Hope it helps you
