1) ans- A body is said to be at rest if its position doesn't change with respect to its surroundings. where as, when the position of body change with respect to its surrounding, it is said to be motion.

2) ans- translatory motion occur when all point in a body move the same distance in the same amount of time. It is also called translational motion. whereas, the circulatory motion is a movement of an object along the circumstances of circle or rotation along a circular path.
