Write a composition (300 - 350 words) on any one of the following:

(a) Write a short story of your own invention which begins with "I am tired of waiting,
I am going to take things in my own hands from now."
(b) Imagine you are shortlisted to visit the Planet Mars. Describe your feelings on being
chosen, the preparation for your journey and the difficulties that would be expected.
(c) Narrate an incident when impatience and haste caused a lot of embarrassment to you.
(d) Express your views either for or against the statement: “Technology is limiting creativity."
(e) Study the picture given on the next Page. Write a short story or a description or
an account of what it suggests to you. Your composition may be about the subject
of the picture or you may take suggestions from it; however, there must be a clear
connection between the picture and your composition.

(a) You went to the villages on the outskirts of your city as a part of a theatre group
conducting small plays to raise awareness about the ‘Swachch Bharat Mission'. Write
a letter to your grandfather describing your experience, your expectations and the
lessons you learnt.
(b) You have recently opened a bookstore in a newly opened shopping mall. Write
a letter to a famous author inviting him to your shop to conduct a book reading
session as a part of the promotion of your bookstore.
