the clouds get charged as tthe water particle and air particles move it create a staticsenergy

1. the vapours inside the clouds will be constantly moving stripping electrons

this causes the electrically charging of clouds

2. conduction: charged by touching the charged object

                        involves touch

                        acquire the same charge

induction: charged by bringing the charged object close

                    does bot involve touch

                    acquires the opposite charge

3. by lightning conductors/rod
