⇒ In given figure parallelogram ABCD and parallelogram ABEF are lies between same parallel lines and having same base AB.

∴ Area of parallelogram ABCD = Area of parallelogram ABEF.

⇒ In parallelogram ABEF

⇒ AB=b=4.2 and FP=h.

⇒ Area of parallelogram ABEF=b×h.

⇒ 36=4.2×h.

⇒ h=

4.2

36

⇒ h=8.57cm.

∴ Height of parallelogram ABEF is 8.57cm

Given :

  • Area of Parallelogram = 42m²
  • Height of Parallelogram = 6m

To Find :

  • Find the Base of Parallelogram ?

Solution :

  • We know that,

➣ Area = Base × Height

According to the question :

  • Area = Base × Height

➣ 42 = Base × 6

➣ 42/6 = Base

➣ 7m = Base

Hence,

  • The Base of Parallelogram is 7m.
