Given : points P(−4,-3), Q(5,-3), R(2,3), and S(-2,3)

To Find :  Plot the points

Join the points in order and name the figure obtained.

Solution:

points P(−4,-3), Q(5,-3), R(2,3), and S(-2,3)

P(−4,-3

go 4 unit left from origin and 3 unit down

Q(5,-3)

go 5 unit right from origin and 3 unit down

R(2, 3)

go 2 unit right from origin and 3 unit up

S(-2, 3)

go 2 unit left from origin and 3 unit up
