1/ bassnio met shylock in the street of venice because bassnio want shylock to give him three thousand ducats as a debt and Antonio will return them after 3 months.

4/ shylock agrees to give him money but Provided that Antonio writes to the lawyer in case he is late in paying the debt, the shylock cuts a portion of his flesh by a pound.
