Let the age of first girl be 5x and the age of second girl be 7x
Eight years age :
Age of first girl=5x-8
Age if second girl=7x-8
Ratio of their ages=7:13
Therefore ; 5x-8/7x-8=7/13
13(5x-8)=7(7x-8)
65x- 104=49x-56
65x-49x=104-56
16x= 48
x=48/16=3
Age of first girl =5x=5*3=15years
Age of second girl =7x=7*3=21 years.
