Canal Rays

• These are positive rays and are also known as anode rays

• These rays originate from the gases that is used in the tube.

• They move in straight line and are not visible to naked eyes .

• These rays gets deflected in the presence of electric and magnetic field .

• The smallest Anode rays were observed by using hydrogen gas in the discharge tube

• These are identified with the help of flurescent screen.
