Li being smaller in size and with high value of ionisation enthalpy shows anomalous behaviour with other alkali metals.
Hence it like many other alkali earth metals firms hydrated salts.

(A) is correct. because Among alkali metal ions, Li+ is the smallest. Therefore it has maximum degree of hydration than any other alkali metals.{hydration energy is inversely proportional to size of Cation.}
