by a pipe of diameter 3.5cm through which water flows at rate of 2m/s.
Calculate the time it takes to fill the tank.

volume of cylinderical tank =πR^2h

= 22/7 *(70)^2 *210 = 3234000cm^2

radius of pipe r = 3.5/2 = 1.75cm

length of pipe covered by water in 1 sec = 2m = 200cm ( say it l)

volume of water flows in pipe

in 1sec = πr^2l

= 22/7 * (1.75)^2 * 200 = 1925 cm^3

time it takes to fill the tank

= 3234000/1925 = 1680 sec

= 1680/60 = 28 minutes Answer
