Let (x₁,y₁) Ξ ( 3, -1)
(x₂,y₂) Ξ ( 4, -2)
slope of line is m = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)
= ( -2 + 1)/(4 - 3)
= -1/1 = -1
we know, slope of line is tangent of positive direction of x-axis.
hence, tan∅ = m = -1
tan ∅ = tan( 180° - 45°)
tan∅ = tan135°
∅ = 135°
(x₂,y₂) Ξ ( 4, -2)
