Answer:

42

Step-by-step explanation:

Let X have 1 rupee

     Y have 2 rupee

     Z have 3 rupee.

Given : Z has 28 more than X

But as per my assumption Z-X = 3-1 = 2 rupees,

Now, If I could make that 2 into 28, I'll get my answer.

To get that I have to multiply by 14 (2*14=28)

Now the original amounts are

X = 1*14 = 14

Y = 2*14 = 28

Z = 3*14 = 42

n = 1 : 2 : 3

y = 2

Given ,

Z = 28

so , Z - n = 3 - 1 = 2

Z = 28/2

= 14

so ,

n = 1 × 14 = 14

y = 2 × 14 = 28

z = 3 × 14 = 42

hence ,

Total amount = 14 + 28 + 42 = 84
