ABCD is a parallelogram. Prove that the diagonals AC and BD bisect each other.
(b)
The present ages of a father and his daughter is x years and y years respectively.
Three years hence father will be three times as old as his daughter. 7 years ago
he was seven times as old as his daughter. Find their present ages.​

Answer:

Father is 30 years old and daughter is 8 years old

After 3 years

X + 3 = 3(y+3)

Before 7 years

x-7 = 7(y-7)

When u solve both these equations u may either get a value of x or y

Once u get any one of the value of x or y, substitute it in either of the 2 equations given above

And solve for the value of the other variable
