Answers
( L.C.M) Lowest common multiple of two or more number is the least number which is divisible exactly by each of them.

I have find L.C.M in attachment.
(a) L.C.M. of 5 and 20
= 2 x 2 x 5 = 20
L.C.M = 20
(b) L.C.M. of 6 and 18
2 x 3 x 3 = 18
L.C.M = 18
(c) L.C.M. of 12 and 48
2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 = 48
L.C.M = 48
(d) L.C.M. of 9 and 45
= 3 x 3 x 5 = 45
L.C.M = 45
From all these cases, we observe that if the smallest number is the factor of largest number, then the L.C.M. of these two numbers is equal to that of larger number.

Hope this will help you...
Answer:
5,20=20
6,18=18
12,48=48
9,45=45
From all these cases, we observe that if the smallest number is the factor of largest number, then the L.C.M. of these two numbers is equal to that of larger number.
