As cos inverse 1/2 can be written as
Cos inverse(cos pi/3) and
Sin inverse 1/2 can be written as
Sin inverse(sin pi/6)
Now the eqn. Becomes
pi/3 + pi/6 = pi/2
As all inverse are in their principle values.
