Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the Side of garden be x.

Width of path = 2.5 m

Side of lawn including path = x + 2(2.5) = x + 5

So,

Area of garden = (Area of the garden including the path) - (Area of the path)

⇒  x² = (x + 5)² - 165

⇒ x² = x² + 25 + 10x - 165

⇒ 10x = 140

⇒ x = 14

Then,

x = (140/10) = 14

Thus,

Side of lawn = 14 m

Now,

Area of garden = (14)² = 196 m²

Therefore,

Area of garden = 196 m²

Hope it helps!

side of a square x metre

X x Xequals to x square

side with road__X+2.5x2 equals to X+5

area with road equals to( x + 5 )

square

therefore area equals to( x y plus 5x plus f plus 25)

on condition

(X+5)-X2 equals to 165

Answer Wii be 196

and then you have to find diameter
