Dear Student,
◆ Electric bulb is filled with argon/nitrogen because -
- Electric bulb contains tungsten filament which gets heated up when we light the bulb.
- If air is used in bulb, filament will burn on reaction with oxygen.
- Hence, electric bulb is filled with non-reactive gases mostly argon/nitrogen.
Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
