The solar energy radiation back from the Earth surface is absorbed by the greenhouse gases { CO2, CH4, O3, CFC's and water vapour is known as greenhouse gases } present near the Earth's surface . due to this reason, They heat up the atmosphere near the Earth's surface and keep it warm .

As a result of that , they keep the temperature of the Earth constantly and help in the growth of plants and existence it life in the earth.

it means if there were no greenhouse gases , there would have no vegetation and life on the earth. because without greenhouse effects Earth would convert to cold planet .
