Explanation:

Aruna's investment = \frac{1}{4}  of total capital

that is  Profit of Aruna = \frac{1}{4}  * 1280= Rs.320

Amulya's capital = Aruna's capital + Alekhya's capital

⇒ Amulya's profit = Aruna's profit + Alekhya's profit

Profit of Aruna + Amulya + Alekhya = Rs. 1280

2(Aruna+ Alekhya) = 1280

Aruna+ Amulya = 640

i.e. Amulya's profit = Rs. 640.
