Physical changes are changes affecting the form of a chemical change affecting the form of a chemical substance, but not its chemical composition. Physical changes are used to seperate mixtures into their component compounds, but can't usually be used to seperate compounds into chemical elements or simpler compounds.

A change in which a substance undergoes a change in it's physical properties is called a physical change. A physical change is generally reversible. In such a change no new substance are formed.

Chemical change :

A change in which one or more new substances are formed is called chemical change.

Chemical changes are very important in our lives. All new substance are formed as a result of chemical changes.

For example :

1. Digestion of food in our body.

2. Ripening of fruits.

3. Fermentation of grapes.
