Question 16: If one can induce parthenocarpy through the application of growth substances, which fruits would you select to induce parthenocarpy and why?

I will choose seed less fruits like banana because by using artificial Axuin hormone (plant hormone) we can produce only Seed-less fruit by the process called artificial parthenocarpy....

Hello,

Parthenocarpic fruits are seedless fruits. They are developed directly from ovary without any fertilization.

For example :- Banana , orange etc.

These are having high economic importance too.

Those plants in which seeds are formed are not selected for Inducing Parthenocarpy because otherwise it will have less economic importance.
