On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Rita spend 11/4 hours each for her homework.On Thursday and Friday, she spend 45 minutes each.How much time did she spend to do the homework during these five days?

Given,

Time spend by Riya for homework on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is
11/4 hours a day.


Hence Time spend by Riya for homework on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday altogether will be


=> (11/4)×3 hours

= >33/4 × 60

=>33 × 15

=>495 minutes.


Since we know that

1 hour = 60 minutes and

33/4 hours = 33/4 ×60 = 495 minutes.

Now, also given that

Time spend by Riya for Homework On Thursday and Friday are

=>45minutes per day.


Hence,total time spend spend by Riya for Homework On Thursday and Friday will be

=45×2

= 90 minutes.


So, total time spend by Riya for homework on five days i. e. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are =>

495 minutes + 90minutes

=> 585 minutes

=> 585/60 hours

=>39/4 hours

=> 9.75 hours.

Hence, Riya spends 9.75 hours or 39/4 hours on five days for her homework.
