(3x \div 4) - (2y \div 3) = 1

this can be written as

9x - 8y = 12 \:  \:  \:  -  -  -  -  -  - (i)

similarly

12x - 3y = 24

which can be written as

4x - y = 8 \:  -  -  -  -  -  -  - (ii)

subtracting i frm ii,

23x = 52

therefore

 x = 52 \div 23

substituting x value in ii

(208 \div 23)  - 8 = y

y = 24 \div 23
