Answer:

A----—-+———-+———+———+————+B

A and B are at a distance of 35- Km. Every hour both travel towards each other and come nearer by 7- Km. (3+4)

So in 5- hours A- Travels- (3 x5)= 15- Km. B- Travels-(4 x5)= 20- Km, and they meet.

They meet 15- Km from A and 20- Kms away from B, at (7.00+ 5.00)= 12.00 hours .ie at 12.00- Noon.

As they start at the same time so when they meet the time taken will be equal.

So if one covers say x km then other will cover (35- x) kms

Time=Distance÷Speed

x ÷ 3 = ( 35 -x ) ÷ 4

4x = 105 – 3x

7x = 105

x = 15 kms

So 15 ÷ 3 = 5hrs

So 7:00A.M +5hrs=12:00P.M
