Answer:

u (intial velocity) = 5m/s

a (acceleration) = 2m/s^2

v = u +at

v = 5 + 2(10)

v = 25 m/s

I am not using some crazy formulae and turn your brain into mush.(mine does).Here is a simple one that requires almost nothing.

Velocity=V

initial velocity:Vi

Final Velocity:Vf

Vi=5m/s

After first second,V=5m/s+2m/s=7m/s

After 2nd second, V=7+2=9m/s,etc.........

Acceleration=2m/s per second

10seconds*2=20m/s

Vf=20+5=25m/s
