Change in equipment:
Protective gear
including helmets, pads and other protective covering are one of the major
changes that came due to the technological advancement. The helmet and the face
protector are made of metal and synthetic lightweight materials.
No change in equipment:
Except the helmet other cricket equipment has not changed much. Bats, stumps, bails and balls have seen little or no change.
They were and they are still made of wood which is natural and pre industrial material. Likewise bats and balls are handmade and not industrially manufactured.
