Explanation:

The organism that grows on the body of another organism and derives nutrients from it is known as a parasite. The organism that obtains nutrients from the dead or decaying organic matter is called saprotroph.

A parasite is an organism that absorbs nutrients/essential materials from it's host to which it is attached. It can be either an endoparasite OR an Exoparasite. Ex- Tapeworm

Where as, A Saphrophyte is a type of organism that absorbs it's nutrients or gains it's nutrition via Dead and decaying Materials. Ex- Cheese Mold and Mushroom.
