In the above attachment, we got the L.H.L. value = 17 and the R.H.L. value = 17
L.H.L. = R.H.L. = f (3)
So, function is continuous at x=3.
Hope it helps!!!

At x = 3
f(x) = f(3) =2(3)²-1 => 17
Now ..
Limx→3 f(x) = limx→3 2x²-1
= 17
Therefore f(3) = lim x→ 3 f(x)
hence function is continuous
f(x) = f(3) =2(3)²-1 => 17
Now ..
Limx→3 f(x) = limx→3 2x²-1
= 17
Therefore f(3) = lim x→ 3 f(x)
hence function is continuous
