Consider the given polynomial as f(x).

Find the zero of divisor by equating it to zero & then put the value of zero in f(x) to get the remainder .

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Solution:

Let f(x)=x³−ax²+6x−a

x−a=0

x=a

Put x= a in f(x)

 f(a)=(a)³−a(a)²+6(a)−a=a3−a3+6a−a

=5a

Hence, the remainder is 5a.
