i) 4p+1 = 4×(-2) +1

= -8+1

= -7

ii) -3p+4p+7

= -3×(-2) +4×(-2) +7

= 6-8+7

= 6+7-8

= 13-8

= 5

iii) -2p - 3pº + 4p + 7

= -2×-2 - 3×(-2)^0 +4×-2 +7

= 4-3×1 -8+7

= 4-3-8+7

= 1-8+7

=1+7-8

=8-8

=0
