On what grounds are some rights considered to be universal in nature? Identify three rights which you consider universal. Give reasons.

ANSWER :  

Human Rights is the key concept of civilized society bear all human beings and the human group enjoy the rights to full and dignified life. There are certain Human Rights which are  considered Universal Human Rights. United Nations Organisation started its tireless effort to ensure Human Rights equal to all. With a lot of hard work Commission of United Nation drafted a Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Universal Human Rights which we consider Universal are as follows :  

1.Right to life :

It means that the state mist afford protection to the individual against all inimical forces.This right  is important both for the state and the individual. The individual personality can develop to the fullest degree only if he is granted the right of life. The state protects the life of the individual. The individual is given the right to self defence. An individual can not allowed to commit suicide.

2. Right to liberty and equality :

It means that an individual must be given the freedom to enjoy his personal life. He must not be interfered with by the laws of the state till he remains within the bounds of law. The citizens are also given the right to equality. Equality is the basis of democracy. All the citizen are considered equal in all aspects of life.

3. Right to property :

This is a natural right. Thus right  belongs to man since his birth ,they come along with his birth and a part of man’s nature. They are inherent in human nature and as such they cannot be separated from it. This right are free from and above the state and Society and do not depend upon the state for their existence.
