We know that K.E=\frac{1}{2} mv^{2}

mass, m=500kg

v=18km/hr

= (18*5/18)m/s

=5m/s

Therefore, K.E=\frac{1}{2}*500*5^{2}

=6250J

The mass of the car with the passengers= mass of car+mass of passengers

=500kg+ (2*50)kg

=600kg

Therefore, K.E=\frac{1}{2}*600*5^{2}\\

= 7500J
