When Pure tall plant TT is crossed with
Pure dwarf plant tt
All F1 plants will be Tt meaning that
All plants are Heterozygous.

When F1 plants (Heterozygous Genotypes) are self pollinated...We get

F2 generation:---
Phenotypic ratio:--
3 Tall : 1 Dwarf
Genotypic ratio:-
1 pure tall : 2 Heterozygous Tall: 1 pure dwarf
1 TT : 2 Tt : 1 tt
(2) This is an example of monohybrid cross because here one trait or character that is Tallness ( tall or dwarf) has taken into consideration.

Had there be two traits like tallness and shape of seed (Two traits or character) this cross would be Dihybrid cross.

Hope it will help to understand well...
Thanks.
