it should be D

whenever a mettalic sphere is given in present of electric field it polarises with negative sign at the left and positive at the right that is why field lines are going inside from the left with bend and coming out of the right with bend and electric field inside the sphere is zero that is why there is no field lines inside the sphere

kushalankur09p5h135: because the electric field lines bends when positive and negative charge are close to each other that is why when electric field is applied to the sphere negative charge appears at left and that is why field lines has to be bend not going straight
