i^(-39)
we know, a^(-n) = 1/aⁿ, use this here.
i^(-39) = 1/i^(39)
Multiply i with numerator and denominator
= i/i^39×i
= i/i^40
= i/(i⁴)^10
we know,
i⁴ = 1 use this here,

= i/(1)^10 = i
= 0 + i

hence, i^(-39) = 0 + i
