cotx = - √3
first of all convert cotx into tanx .
1/tanx = -√3
tanx = -1/√3
tanx = tan(π-π/6)
tanx = tan(5π/6)

we know, from the general solution
tan∅ = tanA
∅ = nπ + A, remember it .

tanx = tan(5π/6)
x = nπ + (5π/6)
