Given,

Length of a rectangle = 36cm

and Breadth of the rectangle = 24cm

We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(Length+Breadth)

= 2(36cm+24cm)

=2(60cm) =120cm

Therefore perimeter of the rectangle = 120 cm

We know that,Area of a rectangle = Length×Breadth

=36cm×24cm

=864 cm² (864 centimetre square)

Therefore Area of the rectangle = 864 cm²

Hope this helps
