Types of angles

1. Right angle: An angle whose measure is 90° called a right angle

2. Straight angle: an angle whose measure is 180° is called a straight angle.
A straight angle has two right angles.

3. Reflex angle:
An angle whose measure is greater than 180° and less than 360° is called reflex angle.

4. Complete angle:
An angle whose measure is 360° called a complete angle.

5. Acute angle:
An Angle whose measure is less than 90° is called an acute angle.

6. Obtuse angle:
An angle whose measure is greater than 90° and less than 180° is called an obtuse angle.

Measure of Some acute angles are: 30 ° ,  45° ,  70°, 85°

Measure of Some obtuse angles are : 105° ,  120°,   175°,  95°

Examples of acute angles:

1. Sliding ramp for children
2. Ladder placed against the wall.
3. Some one observing the tree.

Examples of obtuse angles: 

1.  Bend roof top
2. Angle between the screen & the base of the laptop.
