This is because the lower part of his body starts moving with the bus but the upper part tries to remain at rest. So when the bus stops suddenly a passenger sitting inside it will fall in the forward direction..

Ans : We have certain experience while travelling in the bus.This is due to inertia.Inertia means the inability of body to control it's motion.When a person travels in the bus we tend to move along with bus.When the driver applies brake to stop the bus , the bus slows down but our body tends to move due to Inertia.Hence the person falls down suddenly.
