Area=πr²
Therefore,
Ratio of their areas=
π*3²:π*4²
=9:16
Ratio of their circumference=
2*π*3:2*π*4
=6:8
=3:4

Ans) (i)9:16
(ii)3:4

Hope this helps!!

let the radius of circle A be 3x and the radius of circle B be 4x.
area of circle A = πr^2
=22/7*9x^2 cm square.
area of circle B = 22/7*16x^2
ratio = area of circle A/ area of circle B
= 22/7*9x^2/22/7*16x^2
= 9/16
hence the ratio is 9:16.
circumference of circle A = 2πr
= 2*22/7*3x
circumference of circle B =2*22/7*4x
ratio= circumference of circle A/circumference of circle B
=2*22/7*3x/2*22/7*4x
=3:4
