Explanation:

An object is said to be in motion if it change its position with respect to surrounding with the passage of time

Example : A train moving on rails.

UNIFORM MOTION

An object said to be uniform motion if it cover equal distance in equal interval of time , however small time interview may be , in the same fixed direction.

Example :

A train cover 1200 m in 1 minute in a given direction ,it indicate that it cover 600 m in every 30 second , 300 m in every 15 second , and 100 m in every 5 second and so on

NON UNIFORM MOTION:

A body said to be non uniform motion its velocity change with time .

Example:

A velocity of vehicle is different at different instant and so it has non uniform motion.

SPEED AND ITS SI UNIT :

The rate of change of position of an object with time in any direction is called speed.

SI unit is. ( Meter / Second ).
