Solution :-

Let us assume that, the husband received total Rs.100x .

so,

→ Received by wife = 40% = Rs.40x .

→ Left now = Rs.60x .

now,

→ Given to three daughter = 3(20% of 60x) = = 3 * 12x = Rs.36x .

again,

→ Left = 60x - 36x = Rs.24x .

now,

→ Spend on himself = 50% of 24x = Rs.12x .

then,

→ Donates amount = 24x - 12x = Rs.12x .

A/q,

→ 12x = 12000

→ x = 1000 .

therefore,

→ 100x = 100 * 1000 = Rs.100000 (Ans.)
