Radius = 10cm
Theta = 90°
Area of minor sector = πr²theta/360
= 3.14×10×10×90/360 = 3.14×10×10/4 = 78.5cm²
Area of minor segment = (Area of minor sector)-1/2r²sintheta
= 78.5-1/2×10×10×sin90° [ Sin90° = 1]
Theta = 90°
Area of minor sector = πr²theta/360
= 3.14×10×10×90/360 = 3.14×10×10/4 = 78.5cm²
Area of minor segment = (Area of minor sector)-1/2r²sintheta
= 78.5-1/2×10×10×sin90° [ Sin90° = 1]
