A quadrilateral is a parallelogram if

i)Its opposite sides are equal

ii) its opposite angles are equal

iii) diagonals bisect each other

iv) a pair of opposite sides is equal and parallel.

Kite:

Kite is a quadrilaterals having exactly two distinct consecutive pairs of sides of equal length.

ABCD is a figure of quadrilateral that is not a parallelogram but has exactly two opposite angles that is ∠B = ∠D of equal measure. It is not a parallelogram because ∠A ≠ ∠C.

Hence, it is  kite.
