Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow:

Mars is the fourth planet from the sun in our solar system. Also, it is the second smallest planet in our solar system. Mars is a fascinating planet. Its surface is covered in reddish dust and dirt. The possibility of life on mars has aroused the interest of scientists for many years. A major reason for this interest is due to the similarity and proximity of the planet to Earth. Mars certainly gives some indications of the possibility of life.

Scientists believe that Mars once had a huge ocean. This ocean, experts believe, covered more of the planet's surface than Earth's own oceans do so currently Like Earth, it had volcanoes, gullies, and flat plains. Moreover, Mars was much warmer in the past that it is currently. Most noteworthy, warm temperature and water are two major requirements for life to exist. So, there is a high probability that previously there was life on Mars. Scientists can also see channels that look like they were carved by rivers and

streams a long, long time ago. Over the years, NASA has sent four robotic

vehicles, or rovers, to explore and learn more about Mars. Rovers have wheels

and are specialized in moving around. They land on the surface of Mars, drive

around to different spots and help scientists in their quest to understand what

different parts of the planet are made of. The names of the five rovers sent to

Mars are - Sojourner, Spirit and Opportunity, Curiosity, and Perseverance- the

fifth rover which landed on the Red Planet in February 2021!

b) mars is called facinating planet because the surface gravity on mars is only 37% as compared to earth which makes the volcanos to be taller because of this it is called as volcano planet in the solar system which makes it facinating.
